Visual Designer

Lead the creation of tech-focused video content for marketing campaigns, from strategy to execution. Design and produce creative digital videos that effectively communicate product features and brand messaging. Collaborate closely with marketing and product teams to translate intricate technical and business requirements into user-centric video solutions. Develop and oversee the production of short promotional videos, animations, and other tech video content tailored for Product Hunt and similar platforms. Stay abreast of and analyze prevailing video design trends, conducting research into target user needs, experience demands, and aesthetic inclinations. Continuously optimize video content based on data changes and user feedback to enhance product satisfaction and retention.

Proficient in Mandarin. Bachelor's degree or higher in design-related disciplines, with extensive expertise in video production and editing. 3+ years of experience in tech video design and production, particularly in TO C or outbound product direction, with a successful track record in commercial products. Experience with creating content for Product Hunt and understanding its community and engagement dynamics. Proficiency in mainstream video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Final Cut Pro). Strong understanding of user behavior and psychological characteristics, enabling a deep understanding of user needs. Ability to produce high-quality visual content and demonstrate strong interaction design skills. Exhibit product thinking and strong user empathy, with the ability to engage in user research, interaction design, and overall design processes. Creativity, initiative, and natural curiosity when approaching design tasks, coupled with the ability to effectively present designs and communicate solutions to diverse stakeholders.
